Job Description:
Mirador Therapeutics, Inc. is a clinical-stage precision
medicine company focused on developing first-and/or best-in-class
next-generation therapeutics for immunology and inflammation. The
company’s Mirador360™ precision development engine leverages the
latest advances in human genetics and data science to rapidly
deliver new precision medicines for patients living with
immune-mediated inflammatory and fibrotic diseases. Mirador has
raised over $650 million from leading life sciences investors and
is based in San Diego, CA. Mirador was named Best Places to Work by
Biospace and is a Great Place to Work-Certified™ Company. Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Associate Director in Translational
Genomics and Systems Biology to lead the design and analysis of
translational studies that drive drug development in immunology and
inflammation. The successful candidate will oversee a small team
focused on designing and executing genomics research to identify
and prioritize novel drug targets, optimize combinations or
multi-specific antibody therapies, identify right disease
indications for Mirador drug assets, and develop predictive models
for treatment response and patient stratification. The role’s
primary focus will be the integration and analysis of multi-omics
and biomarker data to inform and support clinical development
programs. This position is based in San Diego, CA, though
exceptional remote candidates may also be considered.
Responsibilities Lead and contribute to translational research by
performing genomics and biomarker data analysis that support both
translational and clinical programs in immunology and inflammation
disease areas. Integrate and analyze public and proprietary genomic
datasets to identify novel drug targets, nominate combinations or
multi-specific antibody targets, and explore indication expansion
opportunities for existing therapeutics. Provide strategic guidance
on diagnostic device development by leveraging genomic and
biomarker insights to predict treatment response and stratify
patient populations using network, pathway, and multi-omics
analyses. Collaborate with internal teams (Immunology, AI) and
external partners (academic and industry) to generate functional
data and develop systems biology and machine learning approaches
that accelerate drug discovery and development. Communicate
analytical strategies and scientific findings to cross-functional
teams including biology, clinical, and leadership teams to guide
research and development decisions. Supervise and mentor junior
computational biologists or contractors to ensure timely execution
of key project objectives and deliverables. Experience and

bulk RNA-seq, and single-cell RNA-seq, to identify genomic
signatures underlying disease mechanisms and therapeutic responses.
Recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) in statistical
genetics, GWAS/QTL integration, causal inference/discovery, or
polygenic risk modeling, with a solid understanding of machine
learning and systems biology. Background in inflammatory or
autoimmune diseases , and experience in translational research,
including biomarker data analysis and treatment outcome prediction
for clinical trials, are highly desirable. Skills and Abilities
Proven track record of leading a functional team to support and to
advance cross-functional, multi-disciplinary research projects.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills , with the ability
to distill complex scientific data into clear, actionable insights
