Job Description Job Description Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description Utility workers are responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of their specific department. They handle products, materials, and supplies, and inspect products to ensure high quality. Responsibilities Loading and unloading HPP torpedoes. Standing bottles up at HPP discharge. Operating the HPP dumper. Making and pre-building boxes. Bringing in fiber and packaging materials for the lines. Loading caps into cap hoppers. Performing general labor related to the bottling process. Engaging in general labor related to shipping, pack-out, receiving, and inventory. Building pallets and lifting, moving, or stacking cases up to 50 lbs. Adhering to SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines. Maintaining regular and reliable attendance. Essential Skills General production experience. Experience in packaging, packing, and bottling. Proficiency in operating production and filling machines. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1 year of previous production experience, preferably in food and beverage. Proficiency in English. Ability to lift 50 lbs, with most work involving consistent lifting of 10 lbs. Why Work Here? The work environment may be wet or dry, with temperatures ranging from 35&degree;F to 85&degree;F, similar to a Costco cold room. It includes exposure to refrigerated manufacturing conditions below 40&degree;F, occasional dry warehouse environments, and freezer warehouse conditions at –10&degree;F. Work areas can be tight and noisy, requiring continuous exposure to environments exceeding 85 dBA. Adherence to safety protocols is mandatory, including the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed shoes. The role requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and safely. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oceanside, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
