We are looking for a SW Release Project Leader who has a passion
for defining and driving integration and delivery of software for a
distributed control system. Join ASML and you will be joining a
team that operates in a fast-paced, uniquely innovative and
challenging environment to create new-to-industry solutions with
rapid productization to support an aggressive commercialization
plan for the EUV technology within ASML.
You will bring your vision and lead a the project team that defines
the content of all software deliveries (SPAs) by working with
stakeholders, system engineering and program/project management.
You and your team will monitor and track the progress of software
patches that need to be delivered, perform the integration of these
deliveries into the baseline, build the software, perform
integration testing, alpha and beta testing and manage the software
release. You will also work closely with both CS-NPI and the field
to secure beta test site and insure the successful beta test of all
release. This will often include working directly with the
customer. You will also work within your team to optimize the way
of working to for software integration, configuration management
and SPA alpha and beta testing.

Role and Responsibilities
Lead the team that is responsible for testing and releasing
software for a complex distributed control system to the field.
Manage the content of each software delivery by working with
stakeholders - Function Project Leads, system engineering and
program/project management
Develop and manage long range plans for software release content by
working with stakeholders - Function projects, Customer Services,
Marketing, Program management, system engineering, and system
integration
Work in a multi-site multi-project environment and monitor and
track the progress of software changes being delivered
Hold delivering projects accountable for delivery quality and
process adherence
Streamline the Source Software Release strategy and the continuous
improvement of SW quality and Source Software Release cadence
Oversee the integration of these Software deliveries into the
Software baseline, the building of the software, the testing
required (integration testing, regression, alpha and beta testing
and manage the software release
Influence the best test approach to ensure that delivered controls
and software sub-systems meets all its functional requirements.
Influence the optimal way of working to ensure that software
integration and configuration management ensure version control,
workspace management and seamless parallel development.
Provide leadership in guiding the team to work with many moving
parts and deliver a quality software package on a published
delivery cycle.
Manage customer expectations and communication with the field on
the content of software deliveries - including frequent con calls
with the direct customer
Identify, assess, and develop mitigations to product and process
risks.
Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements, design
and test documents as well as code reviews.
Effectively estimate and track schedules, costs, and resources.
Set high standards for teamwork, collaboration and execution based
on trust and demonstrate ability to manage cross-cultural
teams.
Assist in interactions with key suppliers and out-sourcing
development partners.
Work within your team to allocate appropriate resources towards
improving the automation if existing processes to improve overall
team efficiency.
Responsible for schedule, budgets(TAP), resource and execution
plans
Experience and education
Requires Minimum of BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or
other related Eng. /Science fields. MS or Ph.D. in relevant field
is a plus.
Software project management experience in leading teams of around
15+ engineers.
Has 8+ years of relevant work experience.
At least two years of project leadership experience leading complex
projects/activities. Has led a successfully completed SW projects.
PMI a plus.
Has ample applicable software integration and test experience.
Relevant experience that demonstrates ability to perform duties and
responsibilities.
Experience in defining software packages, stakeholder management,
and software integration and release to the field.
Ability to follow a Software Development Process that includes
elements of planning, estimation, gathering and analyzing
requirements, developing concepts and designs, implementation,
developing and executing test plans' and engaging in work product
reviews.
Skills
Have demonstrated leadership in working across multiple disciplines
and sites to achieve the software release objective.
Have developed and maintained schedules and progress dashboards,
ensured specifications and designs documents are written, reviewed
and delivered in a timely manner, create progress reports and
presentations.
Demonstrated collaboration with systems engineering and project
management to define software content.
Ability to see the big picture without missing the important
details
Ability to manage software deliveries on a published delivery cycle
and ability to fast track a delivery to meet customer's needs.
Assisted in interactions with key suppliers and out-sourcing
development partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic e-mail
systems.
Ability to interact effectively with other team members as well as
individuals in other disciplines and organizations.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
from senior management, clients, customers, and the general
public.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or
governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure
manuals.
Some travel required.

The environment requires working with a firing laser (which is
noisy) and/or working in a manufacturing clean room environment
from time to time.
The current base annual salary range for this role is
currently:
$133,500-222,500
Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment
with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews
and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each
candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills,
relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the
candidate and pay relative to other team members.

vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate
in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8)
hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays
