Opportunity Details Medicus is collaborating with a hospital 20 minutes from Phoenix, Arizona, with an opening for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide locum coverage. Opening Highlights: - Level I Trauma - Schedule: 24-hour call shifts - Facility has 2 CVORs, 20 CVICU beds - Required Procedures: CABG, valve surgery (AVR, MVR, TAVR), ECMO, emergent post-PCI, aortic dissections, chest exploration/re-entry/post-operative bleeding management, etc. - Will work closely with the ICU team, cardiology, interventional cardiology, anesthesia, APPs, perfusionists, and OR staff - EMR: Cerner and iMed - Must be board-certified - Paid travel & expenses During your time off, enjoy a wide variety of international cuisine at local eateries, spend time at expansive desert parks, and golf at well-maintained courses.
