Job Description Job Description *Must be an NP or PA available
for 24 hrs on-call coverage for all of CHP's sites in the
California and Washington states. Looking for FT, PT, and PRN
candidates.* *Must be licensed in both California and Washington
states.* Pay is $300 per 24-hour shift. This full-time position
will consist of 24 hour shifts of taking call, from home, by phone
and being available on Teams, and occasionally email, as needed
(which can also be accessed on the phone). This call will be for
the purposes of after-hour care for the correctional population, to
include withdrawal management and medication initiation upon
arrival to custody. The EMR used can be accessed remotely.
Preferred candidates are FNPs with any background in the treatment
of MAT. Accountable to: Health Services Administrator (HSA) and
on-site Medical Director (MD) (if present), and CMD/CMO. Position
Requirements: Must hold a current unrestricted license as a Nurse
Practitioner in the state of employment, current DEA registration,
number, an appropriate collaborative agreement with the on-site
Physician, and a valid CPR card. A minimum of 3 years experience in
primary care or emergency care with correctional healthcare
preferred. Must possess strong written communication and verbal
skills and have strong computer skills. Position Summary: Under the
direct administrative supervision of the Health Services
Administrator and the clinical supervision of the on-site Medical
Director and CMD/CMO, the NP is responsible for ensuring that
company goals and objectives are achieved in their assigned service
delivery area by conducting, leading, directing, managing, and
evaluating medical services to ensure that contractual obligations
and client expectations are met. The NP is also responsible for
assuring all medical services are in compliance with the
requirements of NCCHC, ACA, and professional medical standards. Job
