Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: Ongoing 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Staff Occupational Therapist Opportunities – Yuma, Arizona Full-time permanent position | Day shift (8a–5p) We’re hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a collaborative rehabilitation team at a community-centered hospital in Yuma, AZ . Occupational Therapist Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment to help patients achieve functional independence and improve their quality of life, including: • Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to determine therapeutic needs • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, prevent disability, and promote participation in daily living activities • Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, energy conservation, and home exercise programs • Train patients in the use of assistive or prosthetic devices and adaptive equipment • Supervise and direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) according to care plans • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes and coordinated care • Document evaluations, goals, and progress notes accurately in EPIC EMR $40.82 – $51.03 per hour DOE Hourly Range: $40.82 (min) – $51.03 (mid) – $61.23 (max) Annual Equivalent (40 hrs/week): $84,905 – $106,142 (mid) – $127,358 Day shift, 8a–5p | 40 hrs/week Acute care, Level II Trauma Center Required: • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program • Active Arizona OT license (or eligibility) • BLS (AHA) Preferred: • 1 year of occupational therapy experience (acute or inpatient) • Experience with EPIC EMR Why this opportunity stands out • Competitive hourly pay with full medical, dental, and vision benefits • PTO and retirement plans with employer contribution • Sign-on bonus: $5,000 (1-year) or $10,000 (2-year commitment) • Relocation assistance: $2,500 (1-year) or $5,000 (2-year commitment) • Stable, mission-driven health system with supportive leadership • Professional growth and continuing education opportunities Life in Yuma, Arizona Recognized as the Sunniest City on Earth , Yuma offers a warm climate, 300 days of sunshine, and an affordable cost of living.
