working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in San Diego,
California, 92123! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of NICU Level 4 experience or strong
Level 3 surgical experience required. License: Current state
nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, Advanced NRP, PALS
preferred. Must-Have: Experience with oscillator, conventional
ventilator, CPAP, nasal cannula specialty gases, PICC lines,
Broviacs, UAC UVC, PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-Tubes. Must
be comfortable with line changes that have multiple drips and
pre/post-operative care. Description: This position is for a
registered nurse in the NICU specializing in high acuity surgical
cases. Candidates with two years of Level 4 NICU experience or
strong Level 3 surgical experience will be considered. Travelers
may float within the facility and to satellite locations as needed.
Must have flexibility to work weekends and varying shifts.
Experience with post-operative management of trachs and G-tubes is
necessary. Common diagnoses include HIE/Cooling, CDH, NEC, and
respiratory distress/failure. Typical surgeries managed include
gastroschisis, omphaloceles, abdominal surgeries,
myelomeningoceles, fresh trachs, and G-tubes. Must be willing to
float to Pediatric ICU and Cardiothoracic ICU within their scope of
practice. Flu vaccine is required during flu season. Compliance
