About The Position Opportunity Details A medical center in Phoenix, Arizona, has an opportunity for a Radiation Oncologist to assist their team with locum coverage. Opportunity Details: - Schedule: Monday-Friday - Call: Weeknights (5p-7:30a) and weekends (24 hours), 1 week per month - Setting: Inpatient & outpatient, multiple facilities - Daily Volume: 1-8 inpatients or 25-30 outpatients - Duties: Provide linac-based treatments on Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator (3d, IMRT, SBRT), consultations, treatment planning, treatment supervision, OTV patient management, and follow-ups - Case Types: Thyroid, H&N, thoracic, GI, GU, sarcoma, melanoma, lymphoma, and metastatic disease - Support Staff: 3 radiation oncologists, 1 practice manager, 4 RNs, 3 MAs, 4 medical physicists (1 chief), 2 dosimetrists, 6 radiation therapists, front/back office support staff, and procedure scheduler - EMR: Aria, Cerner - Must be board-certified - Paid travel & expenses During your time off, explore a world-renowned desert botanical garden, ride a scenic mountain preserve trail on horseback, and relax at a resort spa.
