Ride aims to address the complexity of autonomous driving and ADAS
by leveraging its high-performance, power-efficient hardware,
industry-leading artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and
pioneering autonomous driving stack to deliver a comprehensive,
cost and energy efficient systems solution. Enabling safe,
comfortable, and affordable autonomous driving includes solving
some of the most challenging technological problems - from
centimeter-level localization to multimodal sensor perception,
sensor fusion, behavior prediction, maneuver planning, and
trajectory planning and control, each one of these functions
introduces its own unique challenges to solve.We are looking for
talented engineers and product managers to join our autonomous
driving team.Job responsibilities include the following:
- Driving end-to-end design of perception systems - computer
vision, lidar, radar.
- Taking from concept production - drive all aspects of product
including data collection, ML ops, Data ops, meeting KPIs, HIL, SIL
and customer management.
- Drive alignment with engineering teams on system design, use
case analysis, architectural analysis.
- Define all aspects of system including safety, SOTIF, AoUs and
work with safety teams to get the deliverables in place.
- Responsible for scouting the industry for advanced CV and
sensing products and regularly publish competitive reports.
- Work with sensor vendors and internal teams to define and drive
next gen imaging needs to establish competitive position for
Qualcomm.
- Benchmark sensor vendors for next generation products /
roadmaps and advanced sensing solutions.
- Working with partners (cloud data & processing, simulation,
compute) for autonomous driving & computer vision stack tools.
- Working with customers and internal engineering teams on
customer RFI, RFQs, system level use case modelling and
analysis.
- Work with business managers & marketing teams for opportunity
accusation and demand creation.
- Maintain our competitive positioning across tiers from
features, power, performance, benchmarking, and cost, and use those
to ensure that we continue to have the best in class overall
automotive product roadmap.
- Candidate would be working with other automotive teams - SoC,
hardware platforms, software tools and frameworks.Minimum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer
Science, Humanities, or related field.
- 8+ years of Product Management or related work
experience.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in end-to-end design of perception systems -
computer vision, lidar, radar.
- Proven track record of delivering production projects from L1
to L3 and above on perception systems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Information
Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in product architecture, product
management with experience in taking customer requirements to a SOC
product.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive software development, use
case analysis, system level modelling.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive perception stacks, driving
stacks and driving IP & SOC architecture to enable efficient HW-SW
co-design.
- 5+ years Product Management or related work experience,
completing full cycle of products from concept to
commercialization.
- Experience in customer engagements and product marketing in
Automotive.
- Experience working with operating budgets and/or project
financials.Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:$196,000.00
- $294,000.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to
maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it
has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is
only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer
a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity
for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not
