Job Description:
SUMMARY
The purpose of the Epidemiology COVID-19 Response Unit within the
Epidemiology Division of the Imperial County Public Health
Department (ICPHD) is to coordinate and conduct COVID-19 case
investigations and contact tracing, document findings, and report
on patterns of illness related to COVID-19. The unit conducts
ongoing monitoring of data collected, analysis, and daily situation
reports to support targeted response efforts of the pandemic and
help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, the Administrative
Analyst will perform administrative tasks in support of
Epidemiology COVID-19 Response Unit; provide assistance with data
management; perform data analysis; prepare reports; participate in
research studies; prepare grant applications; and provide analysis
and recommendations regarding a variety of administrative
matters.
The hourly rate for this position is $24.68/hour to $31.54/hour
depending on experience/ qualifications.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
Any combination equivalent to a bachelor's degree in public
administration, psychology, public health or related field.
Certificates/Licenses/Clearances
A valid California driver's license, proof of vehicle insurance,
and reliable transportation or the ability to utilize an
alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out
job-related essential functions.
