Job Description:

Job Summary

Prepares or reviews tax returns for individuals and organizations, researches tax questions, offers suggestions for tax planning, and studies law for potential tax savings.

Essential Functions:

1. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the client's business that extends beyond tax-related aspects

2. Recognizes problems, assesses alternatives

3. Prepares and reviews tax returns for individuals and organizations

4. Research tax questions

5. Offer suggestions for tax planning

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

1. Minimum Experience required: 3+ years Tax Accounting

2. Skills Required:

• 
  
• High level of technical proficiency
• Effective communication with staff and clients
• Skilled at preparing client correspondence including technical issues
• Demonstrate awareness of current business developments and the ability to determine the impact to a client's business
  
  Education:
  
  Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA Certification
